Eco-Friendly by Design

When designing your printed materials, I'm utilizing my experience in the printing industry to take full advantage of standard paper sizes, thus reducing the amount of waste on the production side of things. Where appropriate, I can implement green design practices such as double sided printing, smaller paper sizes, and no-bleed. Doing these little things cuts down on the waste incurred at the printers.

Sustainable Printed Materials

I have establsied relationships with green printers across the country who use sustainable materials such as 100% recycled papers and vegetable based inks. When I supply you with a quote, I can also supply you with an estimate of how many trees, gallons of water, and killowatts of electricity you are saving by using these materials on your project.

Waterless Printing Process

Traditional printing methods are harmful to the environment. Waterless printing not only drastically reduces the need for gallons of water, it also eliminates the need to dispose of contaminated water.

Eco-Office

Viddyworks operates with as small a carbon footprint as possible. Here are some of the ways in which I've greened my office. you can do it too!

Switch all lighting to compact florescent.
Use of 100% post consumer recycled paper (including envelopes, and post-it notes!)
Paperless Invoicing when possible.
Making the most of my paper use by printing on both sides when appropirate, and reusing file folders and envelopes whenever possible.
Keeping my thermostat low in the winter, and no air conditioning in the summer.
Banning the use of all abrasive chemical cleaners (especially bleach!) in my office, and my home.
Not using chemical products such as Wite-Out
Shutting down my computer at the end of the day instead of logging off
Allocating a certain number of hours each week to learning about environmental issues, and spreading eco-awareness.
